Some places set the scene before a word is spoken. At Valverde Sintra Palácio de Seteais, pale stone, painted ceilings and the wooded hills of Sintra give every moment its own sense of scale. For Jennifer and Trevor, this was the setting for a multi-day wedding celebration, with their wedding day on 12 September 2026.

A palace, and the quieter moments within it

From above, the palace sits between gardens and the green sweep of the hills, with Pena Palace on the horizon. Inside, the story becomes more intimate: a painted bird overhead, hands meeting around a ring, a veil caught in the light from a tall window. Those small gestures bring a different rhythm to a setting as grand as Seteais.

The ceremony unfolded beneath the palace’s monumental arch, framed by cypress trees, pale flowers and an open blue sky. Planning by Weddings by Rebecca and florals by L’Atelier brought the celebration together with a light touch, allowing the architecture and the people to hold the scene.

Jennifer and Trevor’s portraits carry that same balance: the sweep of a veil against the stone, a kiss beneath the arch, the stillness around them. Colour gives way to black and white, drawing attention to shape, movement and the closeness between two people.

A multi-day wedding leaves room for a place to become part of the memory. This chapter of Jennifer and Trevor’s celebration moves from the scale of the palace to the smallest details, then back out into the gardens, where deep shadows soften its bright façade.
